Why so many people are interested in finding a way to make a living on the internet today…

and why so many more will begin trying in the future.

The Internet has become the information and service highway the forecasters predicted it would years ago. More people buy information and services on the Internet than any where else.

It is a $70 billion a year industry, and it continues to grow more every single day. It is estimated to reach trillions within 5 years. NOW is the time that will shape the future of ALL business, so you might as well GET-IN while the getting is still good.

The two biggest reasons why:

1. If you know what you are doing you can pretty much put your earnings on autopilot in a short period of time.

2. The initial investment it takes to start making significant recurring profit online is nowhere near the investment it takes to make money offline.

With all of the affordable and realistic passive income opportunities today that require no real education to be successful…

What does it take to be successful online?

Most Successtreneurs will tell you that they have achieved success online in one of two ways:

1. Trial and error

With so many programs GUARANTEEING small fortunes with the click of a button, the internet can be a jungle… a very dangerous and expensive one for someone that doesn’t really know what they are doing.

Pretty soon they have bought so many BS programs, getting disappointed day after day… hour after hour… over and over again.

After a while they just kind of “figure things out” for themselves, and eventually learn how to research the internet correctly for legitimate ways to make money.

The problem is that so many people never “figure things out” and go back to their offline job forever, convinced that the whole internet is one big scam.

2. They were “taken by the hand.”

Early on they met one or two people that they could ACTUALLY trust, who had more experience than them, that told them what NOT to do, and got them set up correctly to profit online.

Whether or not you have been around for awhile, or are new to this cutthroat internet marketing world, it is important that you are familiar with some of the other “money making” programs floating around the internet.

Lots of money can be made.

You just have to find the right program.

Before you can start making money you will need to find out what kind of product you would like to sell.

Investing in a market where there is either too much competition, which would not leave you enough market share, or in a market where there are simply no customers, is a mistake a lot of beginning online adventurers make. Imagine, you already have a major advantage if you would only decide to use the knowledge which you’ll learn in this chapter. After this chapter you will already know how to find a niche market with a lot of potential.

So, let’s get to it and find those niche markets!!

The greatest thing about the internet is all the information you can find, some of it you will have to pay for, which is fine since it is more than worth it, but most of it is available for free.

What you need to do first is make a list of words (from now on we refer to them as keywords).

At this stage it really doesn’t matter what kind of keywords. You need to grab a pen and paper and start writing. Write down every single word you can come up with. This might be hard when you just start and it probably feels like you can’t come up with keywords immediately. Some guidelines to get you going.

Think of the following:

  • Hobbies
  • Work related
  • Health related
  • Cars
  • Sports
  • Daily routine
  • Relationships

I suggest you take your time for your keyword list since you will be using and extending it throughout your online career.

A good suggestion as well, one which I read during my investigations, is asking all your friends and family for suggestions. The more people you ask, the more keywords you will come up with. Take a notepad with you wherever you go, it will definitely surprise you what kind of keywords you will come up with in the next few days.

Great, I’m sure you’ve been doing your homework the past few days and by now you will have a massive keyword list to work with. What comes next is, without a doubt, the most important part of your marketing tactics. In the next few lines you will find out which keywords are worth investing your time and money in.

First you go to the overture inventory tool here:

http://inventory.uk.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

We do this to find out how many searches have been conducted in the past month for any given keyword. In this search tool you can fill in every single keyword you have written on your list. The first measurement for your keywords is the amount of searches. If your main keyword has less than 20.000 searches using the overture tool, it will not be worth pursuing. It would take you too much time to get enough visitors.

What you’ve got left after this first exercise is a list of potential keywords to start building your income machine, but we only started, so lets find out what kind of other related keywords there might be to give you more opportunities. A great tool to do this and which is not known to everybody is at the following location:

http://www.kwbrowse.com

What this tool will do for you is the following, just type in one of the keywords which you’ve got left after the first exercise and http://www.kwbrowse.com will show you which keywords are complimentary to your main keyword. Let’s take a keyword like headache. With the overture tool we discovered that there where 34621 searches in the past month which at this moment makes it a keyword worth pursuing.

Now, using this same word again with http://www.kwbrowse.com it shows us other keywords which are searched for a lot. For example: pain, back pain, headache relief and a few more. Most of these words will have enough searches on their own to make them very useful for your future online presents. But it gets even better.

When you click on one of the related keywords in http://www.kwbrowse.com that will become the new main keyword and it will show you the next set of complimentary keywords.

Great tool or what?

Just take some of the keywords, go back to:

http://inventory.uk.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

and research how many times people searched for that new keyword you just found.

It will take some of your valuable time to go through the complete keyword list which you created earlier, but I can assure you, this will be the most important part to succeed online. Make sure to take this serious.

We have now established a way to find half of the information we need to find those profitable niches. I can imagine that you are now eager to discover the other half. This I will reveal in my next article which will be available in about a weeks time.

Wikipedia is a free to use, free to edit online encyclopedia. This is a not-for-profit organization and so does not make money commercially from the website. The website is wholly made by the readers, since anybody can edit the pages. Though vandalism has been an issue, it has been minor considering the fact that thanks to sensible additions, Wikipedia today has millions of pages catering to almost all possible topics in more than 123 languages. This has made it the primary reference to the readers who search the internet for information.

This article discusses some possible ways by which Wikipedia can probably try to monetize. Managing such a large website is not only a Himalayan task for the organization, but also a moral responsibility as the selfless work of millions of its users have also gone into it.

The first possible avenue is what most webmasters naturally take; that of advertisements. Wikipedia could possibly take the services of Google to let its advertisers to display their advertisements on Wikipedia. Wikipedia could certainly be considered a special publisher since the Adwords campaigns could certainly expect an increase in the bid amounts for clicks. This is because, Wikipedia easily outnumbers most of the Adsense publishers in the number of impressions that their webpages receive.Hence the advertisers would certainly relish their advertisements being shown on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia can discard this idea if it feels showing advertisements can feel the users less satisfied.

The second possible avenue is analog publishing. Just like Encyclopedia Brittanica, Wikipedia can expect to publish their collections in a book format. Wikipedia content keeps changing massively with every passing day. So, publishing yearly editions could also help Wikipedia fanatics to keep track of how much their site has grown through the period.

One issue that can pop up with this avenue is that users might feel their hardwork is being used for profit by a select few at the helm. Wikipedia can resolve this by counting the value of the contributors by the number of hits their new page has garnered, or how the relevancy of their edition on an existing page is treated in the discussions page. Wikipedia certainly has great people to devise a method, should such an idea be infact mooted.

The third is a modification of its existing Donation method. Wikipedia can use the donations rather as an investment. And this be used by Wikipedia to build the site and monetize through the other methods. And the donators be fittingly rewarded by a corresponding percentage through which the site has infact grown. Say, the ‘donator’ contributes $100. And Wikipedia makes a 20 percent growth. Pay 15 percent dividend to the ‘donator’. Let Wikipedia keep the remaining 5 percent to itself. This will keep everyone in the circle happy.

All being said and done, Wikipedia has done amazingly well in its growth as a free non-profit website. Those who first mooted the idea would be happy to remain so. This article was only for the lesser human beings like you and me.
