Do you often wonder why it is that some coaches and other solo service providers seem to be well-known and sought after in their niche and while others, many others (you, perhaps?), still struggle to attract all the clients they’d like?

I can give you a simple (really!) solution to that problem. It’s called the Marketing Funnel and if you implement it in your business, I promise that you too can enjoy being considered an expert, in addition to selling more of your products and services. And you’ll just have more fun!

You know what a funnel looks like, right? It’s wide and the top and tapers down to a narrow opening. When your prospects enter your funnel through your ezine or other (usually) freebie offering, they are in the “getting to know you”level of the funnel. Once they get to know you, like you and trust you, they likely will move down to the next level, which will include your for-fee products and services, your least expensive ones first, increasing in value and cost as they continue downwards, until they eventually get to hiring you one-on-one or to your other big ticket item. That’s basically how the funnel system of marketing works.

I see a lot of coaches and other solo service professionals offer a freebie at the top of their funnel, and then their one-on-one service packages at the bottom, with nothing in between. I’ve made this mistake myself. It’s important to have offerings at each level of your marketing funnel so people can continue to get to know, like and trust you, as well as get to know, like and trust your products and services.

And when you offer your products and services at different price points, you are lowering the financial and emotional risk for your prospects. You are essentially making it impossible for them not to buy from you!

Implementing this system is easy. Get started by attract prospects into your funnel. Create a freebie offering (an ezine, mini ecourse, ebook, report, guide, checklist, etc.) and put a sign-up form ‘above the fold’ and prominently on your website. You’ll want to add a link to your freebie offering in your email signature as well.

For example, one version of my current email signatures says:
“Are you on the verge of giving up on your business because you don’t have enough clients?

Don’t turn your back on your vision for entrepreneurial success. Get your FREE 5-day ecourse ‘5 Keys to Driving an Abundance of Clients to Your Business’ by sending a blank email to clientabundance@aweber.com.”

This is one highly effective way I attract folks into my funnel.

Once you have prospects in your funnel, find ways to give them more valuable content at increasingly higher prices as they go through the funnel.

For example, the second level of your funnel might offer an ebook for $27 or an ecource for $39. The third level might have a home study course for $147 or a series of teleseminars for $77 each. The fourth level might offer a boot camp for $347, and the fifth level might offer your one-on-one services for $500.

Get the picture? Fabulous - now go to it!

It is no secret that the success of your Internet Marketing Business is to a great extent dependent on the traffic you get. For the Internet Marketer who wants to make money, the website visitor is a very welcome person and his visit is most anxiously awaited. When this is the real scenario imagine webmasters adopting strategies and creating situations knowingly or unknowingly, forcing their website visitors to take a round about turn and flee from their websites. Why do this, and lose your visitors?

The disappointment and frustration the visitors experience sometimes is such that they vow never to return to these sites again and an opportunity to make money is lost for ever.

Given below are specific situations that visitors encounter when surfing the internet hoping to find some useful information.

1. Instruct your website visitors to register before entering your site without giving them any clue what your site is all about.

2. Have an Audio sound track on your home page and compel him to listen to your rhetoric without providing him any provision to turn it off.

3. Ensure that your website has graphics and multimedia and will take at least one minute to download. This will give your website visitor sufficient time to get frustrated, change his mind and go to another site.

4. Once your website visitor is in, confuse him without providing him with concise and clear labels to enable him to know his whereabouts and movements.
Also do not provide him opportunities to explore your site and go back to where he came from but entrap him in a mesh of web pages.

5. Keep changing frequently the location of features in your site making your regular Internet Marketing website visitors and customers confused and frustrated.

6. Do not update contents on your website. Have old or stale Internet Marketing contents without any indication of fresh content. Display today’s date for old content giving a clear indication to the visitor that you are
not only inactive but also dishonest.

7. Have plenty of Typos and grammar mistakes. Make it difficult to read both text wise and color wise, indicating to your website visitors that you are a person without substance, rather than looking professional.

8. Plaster your web page with Internet Marketing banners, advertisements and pop ups thus irritating your website visitors.

9. Do not check your website for broken links. Have plenty of broken links and error messages thus annoying your visitors.

10. Finally as your website visitors are about to leave you site, serve an exit Ad. and ensure that they simply can’t leave that Ad. or exit from your website.

When a website visitor is confronted with this type of situation it is nothing but natural to expect him to be disappointed, disillusioned and frustrated.

There are millions of websites in the internet. There is no reason why the visitor should hang around in a website that is not user friendly and helpful. He knows exactly what he should do in such a situation,-yes, quit the site.

To counter these problems and make money from your website visitors, correct your errors, update your website regularly and dump these strategies that satisfy your whims and fancies. Instead provide your Internet Marketing visitors a website that is simple, attractive and user friendly where he feels very much at home.

Making money with articles is not as hard as it seems. When you are trying to make money with articles, you don’t really need previous career related experience. You can learn everything you need to know from the Internet. You can learn new skills along the way to make your living online. You can become an expert in one area by picking up new skills gradually.

When you are writing articles, you have to keep your readers in mind. A lot of the readers scan through article rather than reading it. So your article should consist of a good title, plenty of subtitles and bullet points. A good title should draw readers’ attention quickly and bullet points will make them easy to find the information they are looking for.

Make money with article is easy.

1. What to Sell: You have to decide what product you want to promote and make money. You can sign up for clickbank.com or CommissionJunction.com as an affiliate. Here you can find a lot of good products to sell. You can choose something you know a bit about or something you like but please make sure it is a top product in its category.

2. Research Keywords: Next, you need to know how to choose keywords that can help you get a good amount of traffic, without being too competitive to get on the first or second page. Keyword Suggestion Tool is a handy little tool that will help you to determine which phrases are searched most often on both Wordtracker and Overture.

3. Write An Article: Then you can write an article about the subject of the product you chose. You should carefully calculate the keyword density for SEO purposes. At the end of each article, don’t forget to include a resource box with your affiliate link that you are promoting.

4. Submit the Article: Submit that article to every free article directory you can find (Here is a list of article directories that you can submit your article). You may want to modify the resource box, title or some words in one of the paragraph slightly with each submission.

It’s fairly easy and everyone should do it. Best of all, it doesn’t cost you a cent. Repeat these steps until you are earning more than $100 a week. Once you start earning more than $100 a week, you can spend some of your earnings hiring freelance writers to write for you. These freelance writers will ghost write articles for you and you own the copyrights of these articles. You can also invest some money on article submission software or getting an article submission service. Ghostwriting and submission service allow you to spend more time working on other aspects of your online business and make more money.
